
Jazlyn Martin
Director of Color Guards
Jazlyn Martin joined Beechwood as the Director of Color Guards in the summer of 2023. As a color guard and winter guard performer, Jazlyn has been a member of Lexis World Guard of Lexington, KY, The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps of San Antonio, TX, The Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Pride of Cincinnati. Jazlyn has been teaching color guard since 2019 and has previously worked with Hamilton High School, North Hardin High School, John Hardin High School, Lakota West High School, and Milford High School.

Logan Newhouse
Director of Percussion
Logan Newhouse is a percussionist and educator from the Central Ohio area. He has been extremely active in music from a young age, performing, writing, and teaching. Logan aims to share his passion for percussion with his students and inspire their creativity.

Logan attended Ohio University, where earned his Bachelor's degree in music education. He served as drumline section leader in the Marching 110 in 2022 and 2023. Logan has continued to write for schools such as The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Lakewood High School, and Miami Trace High School. He has also taught at many high schools in the Columbus and Cincinnati area, most recently student teaching at Centerville High School, where he continues to teach the percussion section.

Logan teaches private lessons at Cincinnati School of Music, and teaches The Cavaliers snareline. Logan is excited to join the team at Beechwood, and aims to uphold and build on Beechwood's strong tradition of excellence.
