Congratulations to the Marching Band for being named the 2008 Class A KMEA State Runner-Up! Beechwood placed in State Finals for the fourth year in a row, a new record at Beechwood! This is the eleventh time the marching band has placed in State Finals.

Congratulations to the Marching Band for their two "Distinguished" performances this past weekend at Boone Co! Beechwood placed 1st in Class A, winning the "Best Guard" award. In finals, Beechwood placed 3rd overall, ending the regular season strong! Way to go Marching Band!

10.11.08 | CONGRATS TO THE MARCHING BAND! (Oct. 11 at Grant Co.)
Congratulations to the Marching Tigers for their two "Distinguished" performances at Grant Co. on October 11! In prelims, Beechwood placed 1st in Class A, winning "Best Music Performance" and "Best Overall Effect." In finals, Beechwood placed 2nd overall, being named "Reserve Grand Champion." Keep up the great work Tigers!!!

09.20.08 | CONGRATS TO THE MARCHING BAND! (Sat., Sept. 20 at Campbell Co.)
Congratulations to the Beechwood Marching Tigers on their two "Distinguished" performances Saturday at Campbell Co.! The band swept Class A, winning Best Guard, Best Percussion, Best Music, Best Visual, and Best Overall Effect. In finals, Beechwood won "Overall Best Effect" and "Overall Best Visual Performance," placing 2nd overall and being named "Reserve Grand Champion"! Congrats band!

09.13.08 | CONGRATS TO THE MARCHING BAND! (Sat., Sept. 13 at Madison Central)
Congratulations to the Marching Band! Beechwood placed 2nd in Class A with a Distinguished Rating and winning Best Guard! In finals, Beechwood placed 3rd overall and was also a proud recipient of the Harold B. Barton Award!

Since the BOA Indy Regional is still full, we have pulled our name from the list and will attend BOA Grand Nationals. Our performance time is Friday, November 14 at 11:45am. More information to follow.

Congratulations to the Beechwood Winterguard! After winning the Tri-State Circuit Scholastic A Championship on April 5, the Winterguard advanced to the WGI World Championships this past week and was named a 2008 WGI World Semifinalist! Congratulations to Rob, Cindy, and the girls!
